The energy of the Saber is composed of the marriage of two PERSONAE: The Fixer and the Heartbreaker. You need not fathom their significance at this point. But it is worth noting the two FERA featured at the face of those two PERSONA images: The Wildebeest and the The Cheetah. When wielding the SABER, you embody in gesture the spirit of these two FERA. The Wildebeest shows an incarnation of courage in action while the Cheetah shows an incarnation of courage in repose. While completing the path of the SABER, be mindful of your own physical gestures as you bring to life your Wildebeest/Cheetah energies. What are your gestures as you enact the SABER of courage?

Confront Others with Emotional Intelligence
Pick two moods that you observe in an Other
and imagine them having a conversation .
Instructions
-
Pay close attention to the arrival of unexpected emotions in others. Be courageous in identifying them and addressing their conflicting messages. Engage with the conflicted feelings of Others with your own dynamic action. In the end, you will have expanded your emotional literacy and assumed a stance as a keen “observer of Others”. This is key to your performance as an enlightened and dignified leader.
-
Imagine a person with whom you are currently experiencing conflict. Ask yourself “What am I not seeing in that person today that needs addressing?”
Scan the 36 FERUS moods above. When two of the FERUS make their presence felt, focus on their expressions and imagine them approaching one another.
If they were to have a conversation. What would they be saying to each other?
What were they each doing and saying before the conversation?
What will they do after this conversation?
What conflicts are they experiencing between themselves?
What are the conflicts between them and their world?
What changes should each FERA make to resolve their conflicts?
How does this drama pertain to the person with whom you are in conflict?
What actions can you offer to help them resolve their internal conflicts?
-
By engaging with evocative material that lies latent in the behavior of others you will come to observe new ways to approach and resolve underlying problems.
Prepare for direct action reflective of your insights into others’ moods.
Now that you have put names to the conflicted moods of an Other,
and considered new ways to interact when faced with those moods.
