Blending a Family of FERUS
One core skill required in playing Ferus Tel is to adopt compatible Ferus within one’s Shadow Territory. The more interconnected each adopted Fera is to others, the more Whisper points you will earn.
You may find that a few Fera serve special roles as key resonators between your adopted Fera. Even if not appealing unto themselves, they increase the score for your blended family of FERUS.
What meaning can you intuit from the eight Ferus you adopt into your family?

Notice the Tels for Dolphin and Wildebeest share a flowery vegetation symbol and a droplet of water symbol on them.
When connected they create a Whisper of length two.
The Whisper of Vegetation between them goes along a horizontal line.
The Dolphin and Wildebeest are said to “Resonate” and a trail joining them can be seen as you place them side by side.
The Whisper of Water connects them from Northwest to Southeast.
In this demo you see how a player who has adopted Dolphin and Wildebeest chooses to adopt Otter as well. The Whisper of flowery vegetation is now 3 Tels long.
About Level 3: Following Whispers
Playing with patterns evident in the Whispers connecting our different moods, we find surprising families of feeling. What could the Calm repose of a Bear have to do with the Bored drift of a Jelly Fish? It’s all in the Tels.
That which separates our “good” moods from “bad” ones can seem so mysterious. By playing close attention to the underlying drives that create our moods we begin to see another reality within us. It is a realm comprised of strange bedfellows.
