Personas

Personas are the interactive roles we play in the world. We do this by embodying three FERUS at once:
an Insulating FERA (black border) ,
an Escalating FERA (red border),
managed by a Resonating FERA (white border) that sits between the two.

The greatest power is that of Innocence as it is given away,

the Sympathizer wields such power unwittingly,

building foreign sanctuary, even when feeling empty inside.

This Persona arises in response to the instinct for Self Preservation. Until you free yourself of its hold, you will experience yourself in the grip of its cause to be a

Self Inquiry for the Sympathizer

Holding the experiences of another in an atmosphere of unconditional Love satisfies my core needs. Until it doesn’t. It’s only then, when I find myself running on empty, that I begin to see the trap I have set for myself. Furious emptiness. I take such very good care of myself by simply never being alone. My Persona as a Sympathizer keeps my own experience of the world a barren province that I habitually avoid. Sounds terrible I know but it’s really not so bad. People revere their connection to me and rarely ask more than that I just show up. They may try to care for my invisible fury at our mutual peril - for I would rather vanish and punish than acknowledge my unmet needs. Failing to integrate the empty and loving parts of myself, I languish inside while being everyone’s best friend.
