I am deeply soothed by my elegant regard for others. It’s this grand effort towards repair that softens the hard edges of my world as it is. My Persona as a Samaritan lifts my gaze up and away from so many drab possibilities that scurry afoot and sets my focus where it belongs: on selfless love for humankind. Watch as this spiritual sensibility of mine forms pirouettes in a cloudless sky. Beware when these Eros affections are taunted. My contempt for others can also course hard and deep for a time. It is my humility that saves me in the end, integrating the indignant and passionate parts of myself with penance and remorse.
