Self Inquiry for the Occultist
Do I hear the call to something extraordinary within or is it a basic wish to avoid the common place? I feel I can consume all knowledge in my own way - so long as I first unabashedly thwart those that would distract me from my task. I shall not be celebrated for my kindness. This I can accept. Instead I cast my lot by holding to truth itself, accepting whatever the cost. Behaving as an Occultist gives heed to this ecstatic call to feel the pull toward greatness. Unfortunately, as I fail to integrate the very bored yet very awake parts of myself, I can end up a stranger even to myself.
